Directions to The Florida State University CampusThe Florida State University campus is located on US Highway 90 (Tennessee Street) west of the intersection of US Highway 27 (Monroe Street). The Oglesby Student Union, where the majority of orientation programs are held, is located at the corner of Tennessee Street and Woodward Avenue. Directly across from the Union on Woodward Avenue, is the Call Street parking garage. This garage is open to orientation participants with a temporary orientation-parking pass (review FSU Parking Policies at the bottom of this page). Directions to Woodward Avenue are indicated below:Traveling West on Interstate 10: Take Exit #209A and yield left onto US Highway 90 (Mahan Drive which will become Tennessee Street). Continuing driving west about 9 miles on US Highway 90 (now Tennessee Street) and turn left at the Woodward Avenue intersection. The Oglesby Student Union will be on your left and the parking garage is to your right. Traveling East on Interstate 10: Take Exit #192 and yield right onto US Highway 90 (Tennessee Street). Continue driving east for approximately 7.4 miles. Turn right at the Woodward Avenue intersection. The Oglesby Student Union will be on your left and the parking garage is to your right. Traveling South on Highway 319/61 (Thomasville Road): After you cross Interstate 10, stay on Thomasville Road (SR 61) for about 4 miles until it merges into Monroe Street (US Highway 27). Continue south for about 3 blocks to the Tennessee Street intersection. Take a right onto Tennessee Street and drive 8 blocks west until you reach the Woodward Avenue intersection. Take a left onto Woodward Avenue. The Oglesby Student Union will be on your left and the parking garage is to your right. Traveling West on Apalachee Parkway: Apalachee Parkway ends at the Capitol Building. The Parkway intersects with Monroe Street. Turn right onto Monroe Street (US Highway 27) and drive 5 blocks until the street intersects with Tennessee Street (US Highway 90). Turn left onto Tennessee Street and drive 8 blocks. Turn left at the Woodward Avenue intersection. The Oglesby Student Union will be on your left and the parking garage is to your right. Traveling South on US Highway 27 (North Monroe Street): About 4 miles from Interstate 10, Monroe Street intersects with Tennessee Street (US Highway 90). Turn right onto Tennessee Street and drive 8 blocks. Turn left at the Woodward Avenue intersection. The Oglesby Student Union will be on your left and the parking garage is to your right. Florida State University Parking Policies to Consider: 1. You must display your FSU Orientation parking permit in a visible location on your dashboard at all times while using student parking. Copies of the permit will not be honored. 2. Parking is allowed in student parking (denoted by "W" signage or white painted stall lines) with a valid orientation parking permit on the day(s) of your orientation program only. 3. Additional paid parking is available in visitor lots and metered spaces on the FSU Campus. If used, orientation visitors are responsible for paying visitor lot and meter fees. 4. DO NOT park in Faculty/Staff parking (denoted by "R" signage or red painted stall line). 5. Do NOT park in firelanes, reserved spaces, service areas, non-designated areas (yellow curbs, access lanes, lawns, landscape or sidewalks). 6. Vehicles parked in violation of University parking rules will be cited. If you receive a citation and would like to appeal the violation, please include your permit with your appeal so that Parking & Transportation Services will know you were attending Orientation. 7. If you have lost or misplaced the parking permit mailed to you with your orientation confirmation, please contact the Office of New Student & Family Programs for a replacement. Copies of the permit will not be honored. |
