Terms of First-Year/Lower-Divison Transfer Orientation Registration
1. I have read and understand all of the information provided in the orientation registration brochure which was mailed to
me or have fully reviewed the information available on the website.
2. I understand that the freshmen/lower-division transfer program for summer/fall admits (not spring) includes on-campus student housing for two
nights in Wildwood Hall. Your program will be two nights & two days. Check-in for orientation/housing will occur between 7-9 p.m. at Wildwood Hall
on the first evening. (ex. If your session is May 18-20, you check-in between 7-9 p.m. on May 18.)
3. I understand that full orientation participation is mandatory for all new degree-seeking undergraduate students. Therefore, I should not make plans to leave before 1 p.m. on day 2 of my program. I will be unable to
register for my courses until I have fully completed orientation.
4. I understand that the University highly encourages each student to have at least one family member attend orientation with the student so the family can gain information and be best prepared to help the student transition to the University. I acknowledge that the student schedule is sometimes separate from the family schedule. Family member housing is not provided during any
orientation sessions.
5. I understand that the University requires each student to submit a (paper) Health Information/Immunization form and complete an (online) Health Insurance Verification process before he/she will be able to register for classes at the conclusion of orientation. These two items should be completed as soon as possible. The Health Information/Immunization form can be downloaded HERE. The online Health Insurance Verification process can be completed HERE.
6. I understand that orientation reservations cannot be held without payment. I understand that online reservations begun
without completed electronic payment will be deleted from the system after 48 hours and my space in a session will not be
held.
7. I understand that space at each orientation session is available on a first-reserve basis until sessions have reached
their maximum capacity and I accept that sessions may close at any time.
8. I understand a confirmation brochure will be mailed to me once my orientation fees have been paid and I should not make
lodging or travel arrangements until I have received a confirmation brochure or contacted the University to
confirm my reservation was successful.
9. I understand that all orientation fees are nonrefundable.
